Good tool for it`s purpose

I was trying to recover a file that a user had deleted. I captured an image of the disk using the Linux dd command. I was able to mount this image using P2 eXplorer. There were no problems mounting the image. However, one tool I was using to examine the image (OnTrack EasyRecovery Pro 6) did not let me select the image when in Deleted Recovery mode. I cannot say whether other tools would have a similar problem.

All in all, good tool.
